August Seed Sunset & Skillshare Workshops

Our August Seed Sunset is extra special! This month’s event is being paired with a variety of skillsharing workshops led by EPNI Woodworking and Farm Apprentices.

This is a wonderful opportunity for youth and adults alike to learn introductory woodworking safety and handling with power tools and basic gardening skills, while slowing down in a welcoming setting. We’ll also have food to share and time to connect with neighbors.

This season’s five woodworking apprentices and two farm apprentices have been busy with Roof Depot site development and tending to the urban farms. They can’t wait to share what they’ve learned with the community!

Instructions will be provided for activities, there will be tasks for all different abilities. You are encouraged to wear comfortable clothes that can get dirty and to bring a water bottle. We'll have limited work gloves available. No prep is needed.

Meet us on Wednesday, August 12 from 5:30 - 7:30 PM at the East Phillips Community Garden (2428 17th Ave S, Minneapolis). The next event is on September 9.
