Seed Sunset & Birdhouse Build Day

Our September Seed Sunset is hosted in collaboration with the Wild Farm Alliance! This month’s event will feature a simple birdhouse build template with large impact to support conservation and biodiversity efforts.

Please RSVP for our free, monthly events.

This is a wonderful opportunity for youth and adults alike to learn introductory woodworking handling with power tools and basic gardening skills, while slowing down in a welcoming setting. We’ll also have food to share and time to connect with neighbors.

Instructions and tools will be provided for activities, but you are welcome to bring your own drill. There will be tasks for all different abilities. You are encouraged to wear comfortable clothes that can get dirty and to bring a water bottle. We'll have limited work gloves available. No prep is needed.

Meet us on Wednesday, September 9 from 5:30 - 7:30 PM at the East Phillips Community Garden (2428 17th Ave S, Minneapolis). Free street parking is available.

Confirmation details will be provided closer to the event date.
