PRESS CONFERNCE: Monday, August 18

At the intersection of 27th Street and Longfellow Ave.

It's time to solidify a fair deal for East Phillips. At the end of June, EPNI asked the city of Minneapolis to sell the Roof Depot site to East Phillips for $10.2 million, a price that reflects the unexpected loss of state funding earlier this year, and is still well above the building’s appraised value of $3.7 million.

The city's responses to EPNI's offer have been incredibly slow and our set closing date of September 15th is approaching fast.

On Monday, we'll share more about the plans, partners, and funding we have lined up for the next phase of this project which begins as soon as we have site access. But first, the city must show up to sell this site and finally hand over its stewardship to East Phillips.
