COMMUNITY EVENT: Harvest Moon Community Solutions Festival on 9/27

Come celebrate community solutions at our annual festival in Cedar Field Park! All are welcome to this free event, featuring food, presentations, performances, and activities for kids and adults

Decades of pollution in East Phillips show a long legacy of city planners deprioritizing the health of the land and people in this neighborhood. But for just as long, people here have been building ways to increase community wellbeing on their own terms.

The decade-long movement to transform the Roof Depot into a community-owned urban farm and climate resiliency hub is just one example of amazing people-powered solutions here.

At the event, EPNI will also share updates around our ongoing negotiations to purchase the Roof Depot warehouse from the city of Minneapolis and finally transfer stewardship of this site to the people of East Phillips and Little Earth.
